Toxic Gas Detector housing for hazardous noxious gas detection module
The gas sensor housing is a sintered stainless steel porous metal filter specially designed by HENGKO to protect the gas sensors from splashing and spraying water. It also protects the sensors from dust and other debris that may inhibit the performance of the sensor.
For reliable gas detection and calibration, it is recommended that the HENGKO gas sensor housing mouth and the sintered filter, be checked for oil films, dirt deposits, and other debris during routine maintenance. Apply gas to the sensor and observe its response. This test should be done regularly and will give an indication of whether or not the explosion-proof sintered filter is clear or blocked. If the filter is dirty, damaged, or degraded, it should be replaced.
The life of the filter will be determined by the type of chemicals and particulates it’s exposed to.
