The following sections contain key guidelines and best practices for installing relative humidity (RH) transmitters, also known as relative humidity transmitters
Normally, Have Two Installation for Relative Humidity Transmitter, if you also have this question to learn, please check as follow:
1. Wall-mounted Relative Humidity Transmitter
The temperature and humidity transmitter is installed in a position where it is exposed to an unrestricted air cycle that represents the average humidity and/or temperature of the controlled environment. The transmitter is then installed about 4-6 feet above the floor on the inner wall. HENGKO recommends avoiding areas with excessive humidity, smoke, vibration or elevated ambient temperature, which can affect the sensor's measurement accuracy. If you need to measure in high temperature environment, such as oven, high temperature pipe, etc., you can choose HT400 series high temperature sensor, which can be used in the range of -40 to 200 degrees Celsius. One or two, no or with transmitter option.
2.Installed in the Pipeline Humidity Transmitter
When installing the transmitter, be careful that the sensor probe is located in the center of the pipe. Make sure it is installed away from fans, corners, heating and cooling coils, damper and other equipment that may interfere with relative humidity measurements.
Adequate airflow should be present in the installation position for proper operation. Because a typical ductwork system contains an outdoor air inlet, contaminants in the outdoor air may have an impact on the sensors and the frequencies that must be calibrated.
Ecommendation: Annual inspection of RH transmitters in piping system is recommended. The relative humidity transmitter should be installed in a dry and sheltered area for outdoor air. Ideally, the transmitter should be located on the north side of the building (under the eaves) to avoid solar-heated air rising up the walls of the building and affecting the relative humidity of the sensor.
The HT-802C temperature and humidity transmitter uses a 12V power supply and is ideal for evaluating humidity levels between 10% and 90% with ±2% humidity accuracy. Suitable for temperature readings between -20 ℃ and 60℃, accuracy is 0.2℃.
Special consideration should be given to the location of heat and condensation units and building vents and fan vents. Heated air and possible contaminants associated with building exhaust may affect transmitter accuracy and may contaminate sensor elements, requiring premature replacement of units or sensor elements.
